New PING Range
PING was founded in 1959 by Karsten Solheim simply because he wanted to improve his golf. The PING putter was named this because of the unique sound it made when striking the ball.
Custom club fitting was introduced in the late 1960’s to help PGA Tour professionals improve their equipment to fit their swings.
Today PING whole philosophy is based on custom fitting clubs for any golfer. In the creation of their golf clubs, PING focuses on quality, technical performance and innovation which are mirrored in the design and manufacture of their golf clothing range.
